I wish I could give this place 0 stars. We had contacted the property well in advance to let them know that my fiance would be arriving before me as he was coming from Rome and I was flying in from Philadelphia. They said it would be no problem and when he arrived they showed him to the room. Immediately upon walking in he found a woman in our room and after he had asked her to leave noticed that she had used our bathroom. We contacted the owner and she told us that the neighbors just "needed a place to change" and it was "ok now." I told them I was very uncomfortable with the idea of someone being in our room and that it was not sanitary anymore. Immediately she told me that she didn't want "people like us" in our hotel and that she would return to our room and kick out my fiance. She then told me to cancel my booking which I refused to do and told her that if she was going to kick us out, she would need to cancel it herself. I contacted booking.com to tell them what had happened and they immediately refunded our booking. We went elsewhere and I encourage you to find a different place to stay for your time in Milan. Buyer beware!

If coming here from Milano Cle railway station, the easiest, safest and cheapest way is to use the Metro to Pasteur (no lift from platform to street) and walk the short distance to the building. Once through the (usual for Italian buildings) array of security doors, there is a small lift and well-lit stairs to take you to the fourth floor where the five en-suited rooms are located off a central dining room. The communication prior to our arrival was excellent and arrangements were made to self-check-in (we received instructions via Booking.com) and we met our hosts the following day. While there may be language barriers for non-Italian speaking people, the hosts (Giovanna and Angela) were very welcoming and helpful with hints on what to see in Milan and the local area and at all times they made sure we were comfortable and had our interests catered for. They offer complimentary baggage storage, either for the day or for a short period if you leave then return to their venue. The room, which had a large and comfortable bed, was clean with a mix of old and modern décor and was of a manageable size for a couple with luggage. In the rooms is a wardrobe, tea/coffee making facilities and a small bar fridge (with complimentary bottles of water) and some rooms have a small desk. The compact bathroom was also clean. Central heating as well as air conditioning is in the room and a window or door (depending on which room you are in) allows fresh air flow. The dining room, which can be a place of “bon homme” with other guests, serves the breakfast that was usually freshly made coffee, yoghurt, fresh seasonal fruits, a shared omelette and fresh bread and pastry from the local bakery. No other meals were provided and there are no facilities to cook or prepare your own meals however close by there is a mix of dining options of different styles and nationalities.

This place was listed on one of the sites as a Hotel. It is not a hotel by any stretch of imagination. Despite having paid in advance, we stayed there for approximately 30 minutes and left. The owners or their representatives physically tried to stop us from leaving by hanging on to our luggage. The room was tiny, and getting in or out of the place was complicated. I'm sure the owners are good people, but we found the accommodations more suitable for young back-packing, budget-minded folks.

Lovely b&b in a very convenient location.Very well looked after.My room was spotlessly clean and very nice.Metro station is about 50 metres from the b&b.Few nice cafes and restaurants near by.The host-Angela is lovely and very helpful.Many thanks

Without doubt the worst ever experience we had when booking a room . Unhelpful, unresponsive and incompetent. Have had to deal with them for since January when we had to cancel our booking due to unexpected restrictions imposed by Italian government. Since January they have never ever answered to our messages and emails in order not to give us the opportunity to use the voucher they promised when the restrictions will be lifted! The only time they answered was after i left a honest bad review in Google. This has been an absolute unpleasant and frustrating experience - i am really shocked that this level of poor service and incompetence exists in this field. I had recently complained to the European Commission also, and i will not stop here! AN UTTER DISGRACE! А few hundred euros is not the money for which you should forget about the concept of decency!
